The Community Foundation of Greene County will host a “Fall Into Philanthropy” Celebration Dinner on Thursday, November 9th beginning at 6:00 PM. The dinner will be held at the Valley View Farm venue at 108 Orndorff Road off Route 218 south of Waynesburg.
The dinner will celebrate the gifts of philanthropy that have had an impact on Greene County residents through grants to nonprofit organizations and scholarships for students of all ages. CFGC will also recognize and honor local attorneys, financial and tax advisors, and other professionals who have helped to share information about CFGC and avenues for giving with their clients and other people in the community.
“Recognizing the people and businesses who have established new grant and scholarship funds, as well as given to existing funds, helps to share the stories about philanthropy in our community,” said Dr. Morris Harper, Chairman of CFGC’s Board of Directors. “The stories – the gifts – become part of the fabric of our giving, and encourages others to step up and make a difference themselves.”
Advance tickets for the dinner must be purchased by Wednesday, October 25, 2017 by calling 724-627-2010 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
